13th Annual Aquin Combined Reunion
Aquin is hosting the annual Combined Reunion again on Saturday, September 29.The event has met with tremendous success and we're hoping it continues. All details will be listed in the annual newsletter that comes out in early July. The honored classes will be:
1952 . 60 years
1957 . 55 years
1962 . 50 years
The events for Saturday include a guided tour of Aquin at 1:00 starting in the gym lobby. Many alumni attend Mass at St. Mary's Church at 4:00.
Attendees then head to Aquin for a Dinner and Dance and have memories come alive as the event is held in the Auditorium, just like Prom was not so many years ago (and still is today). The doors to Aquin will open at 5:30 with appetizers and a catered dinner will be served at 6:30. We will have short presentations by each honored class with a spokesperson for each. Then, we'll turn the lights down and turn the music up (but not too loud) as the DJ will provide music from your high school days. Past years' attendees danced until we turned the music off at 11:30pm.
If anyone would like to help planning the details of this year's event, please contact laura.diemer@aquinschools.org as we'll begin meetings in August. I will need a contact person for each of the honored classes and I will need a spokesperson for each class.
