| Reading with the Stars 2010-11 |
| Our new reading competition will start again in September, 2010. Students in
4th-6th grades will be placed in teams and compete weekly for "Top Reading Team" honors by reading the selected books and answering random questions correctly to prove they have read the book. Top Reading teams will be rewarded quarterly. The program will culminate at the Fine Arts Fair in April 2011 with the Top Reading Team of the Year.
So, this is how you can help your team. Start reading throughout the summer! Click on the title above for the list of the 142 book titles. Many of the books have been selected because they have won the "Rebecca Caudill Young Readers' Book Award" or a similar type of award. Other books are on the list because they are good reads!
