Over fourteen religious denominations are represented in the school system. Students attend daily religion class, weekly Mass, and other liturgical celebrations.
Our curriculum adheres to the Diocese of Rockford content standards. Students study Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics (Saxon or ALEKS), Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Art, Vocal Music, Physical Education and Fitness, Computer Technology and a unique class named Discovery. We also offer Instrumental Music for interested fifth and sixth grade students.

Programs are designed to be instructional and developmental. Athletes benefit from equitable playing time consistent with effort and talent exhibited during practices. Our athletic programs are a viable means of communicating our school's christian identity and high standards. Spectators, athletes, and coaches are ambassadors for the school system. All are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship and respectful behavior.

All students attending Aquin Elementary or any student who is a member of the 5 supporting Catholic Parishes, are eligible to play in the Catholic Basketball Association, a volunteer-based basketball program. Games and practices run from October through December. This league is designed to be instructional and developmental. Athletes benefit from equitable playing time consistent with effort and talent exhibited during practices. Spectators, athletes, and coaches are ambassadors for the school system. All are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship and respectful behavior.
